Greg Altieri

Medical Device Advisor & VP R&D SenoGuard™

Mr. Altieri is a medical device executive and product developer. He was a founding Member of the medical device incubator Salt Creek Medical Device Development and the related Salt Creek Fund I. Previously he was President and CEO of Vascular Control Systems, a venture funded company that developed products for the non-surgical treatment of uterine fibroids. This company was acquired by Ethicon, Inc. a division of Johnson & Johnson. Mr. Altieri has experience in a broad array of products – women’s health, wound care, continuous blood gas monitoring, in-vitro diagnostics, cerebral monitoring, and endoscopy. He is a named inventor on more than 40 pending or issued US patents. In addition to his work with SenoGuard, Mr. Altieri has also consulted for numerous start-up technology companies including Cognetive Systems, Curexo USA, SurFx Technologies, Atrial Innovations, Laguna Medical Technologies and Indian Wells Medical. He holds a B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley
